Syntel , a global information technology services and knowledge process outsourcing firm, has achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status with competencies in information worker solutions and mobility solutions.
Keshav Murugesh, Syntel president and chief operating officer said “We are extremely pleased to become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, With this achievement, we will be better able to leverage Microsoft technology to deliver value to our clients through next-generation mobile applications and better use of enterprise information assets.”
With Windows Mobile-based solutions, customers will be able to access information on the go, This can increase employee productivity and customer response rates while reducing business cycles and, ultimately reducing the costs.
Despite of the recession, global slowdown and war like situation in indian sub continent Syntel president has assured that there would be no such impact on Syntel.
Talking to CXOtoday on “Will the war-like situation impact outsourcing industry?”, Murugesh said, “At Syntel, we do not see any impact from this situation. The biggest clients for IT and KPO companies that have an India backend are in the Western hemisphere. Countries that do business with each other will rarely have disagreements and this is true of India’s relationship as a global IT and KPO supplier to North America and Europe. Therefore the current situations caused by the terror attacks on Mumbai are just a distraction in a much bigger scheme of things.”
So its time every CEO of a global or a local company start looking at how they can absorb global delivery processes to create more efficiencies, access a very talented workforce and reduce cost significantly and on a sustainable basis, said Murugesh
