SAP AG has announced the launch of SAP Business Suite 7 in a press conference today.
SAP Business Suite 7 is fully loaded with more then 150 new functional innovations in CRM, SCM and other areas. Business Suite 7 is believed to strengthen sap’s ‘enhancement package’ strategy by allowing it’s customers to choose the functionality best suits their requirements, without the hassle of a full upgrade. It is a next-generation software
that helps businesses to optimize their performance and reduce IT cost.
When the market is looking gloomy, The launch of SAP Business Suite 7 may be seen as the ‘Brahmastra’. The Launch of Business Suite 7 seems to be the right step at the right time.
SAP co-CEO Leo Apotheker added that this is an important release for the company. He added: “It’s a keystone we will build on for the future.”
SAP Business Suite indeed has the ability to reduce customer’s efforts to procure, implement, test, integrate and support third party software. All the major applications mingled under a common shed, would ultimately reduce time to implement and deployment of new functionalities.
