SaaS seems to be the hottest subject of debate among Indian IT decision-makers, SaaS is not a very new concept but something which was missing in the indian sub continent from quite some time. Ease-of-use and convenience are the top two reasons for Software as a Service (SaaS) adoption in India, as per a recent survey on SAAS usage published on cxotoday.com with Inputs from Springboard Research. As per the research “Indian SaaS Market Will Clock 76% CAGR by 2011″ which is undoubtedly not an easy task to predict, specially when the global recession has hit the backbone of the world economy, but the focus being on the cost reduction and Return of Investment will surely play a vital role in the adoption of SaaS.
According to a recent study by Forrester Research Inc, the SaaS vendors are seeing double-digit growth in their subscriptions.
